The Burlington Police Department confirms it is investigating an officer-involved shooting outside the Lord Baron Apartments complex. In a series of tweets, Burlington police said there is no threat or danger to the general public at this time.
Police are also urging residents and motorists to avoid the area on Baron Park Lane. Photos captured by NewsCenter 5 photographers show police tape outside of the apartment buildings.

A number of officers and police officers were spotted outside of the apartment complex.
Burlington police said additional information about the shooting will be provided as soon as it is available.
