Lauren Sampson’s Death – Obituary, Lauren Sampson Is Dead

Lawyers for Civil Rights are mourning the sad and unexpected passing away of Lauren Sampson who was a great instrument in the the civil rights community and muchly valued friend and colleague, the deceased was so dedicated and focused, as she was so exceptional and brilliant.

Her demise is indeed a great loss to all who knew and worked with her most especially the great LRC team and board members which sees to Civil Rights fights discrimination and also fosters equity through courageous legal advocacy, Her loss at this time will be profoundly felt by all who served with her.

A tribute from Inez Friedman-Boyce, LCR’s Board Co-Chair read “She was an exceptional person, accomplished beyond her years & her loss is felt profoundly by all who worked with her.”. We deeply commiserate with the family she left behind, we ask that they receive comfort.

Most recently, she taught “Race Relations and the Law” at @BCLAW, and was developing a course on “#Literature and the #Law.” She was eager to bring her #intersectional lens to help develop #criticalthinking in the next generation of legal advocates………….” LRC posted on Facebook.
