Herbert W. Bergson Death – Obituary: A locally known former police officer and mayor of both Duluth and Superior have died.
Herbert W. Bergson, Jr. died early Thursday morning.
According to Bergson’s brother, he died due to complications from cancer surgery.
Bergson served as Superior’s mayor from 1987 to 1995 and was later elected mayor of Duluth from 2004 to 2008.
