York County college student, Greg Anstine, Has Passed Away  After Falling Off Cliff In Montour County

A York County college student, Greg Anstine, studying at Bloomsburg University has passed away after falling off cliff in Montour County. According to information gathered on Friday, the 4th of February we learnt of the tragic death from the Montour County coroner.

Anstine, a resident of York County, passed on at the scene according to account from the first emergency responders who made it known that upon arrival they found the student dead. Aside Anstine, we learnt that another student identified as Kyra Defstefano, also suffered injuries as she was stranded part way down the cliff.

We later learnt that one of the victims Kyra Defstefano who was stranded part way down the cliff, made a call to 911 who came to her rescue, before Fire crews from Northumberland and Montour Counties responded to the acccident scene.

Kyra was transported to Geisinger Medical Center for proper care and treatment, while Greg Anstine from the York, PA area who also was a victim of the cliff accident suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene of the fall, the two victims were said to be Bloomsburg University Students.

We extend sincere and most heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, we ask that God grants them the fortitude to bear the sad loss. We also ask that the friends and loved ones of the deceased keep his family in their thoughts and prayers during the difficult time.
