Alan ‘Ashy’ Ash Death – Obituary: We are saddened to learn of the passing of Alan ‘Ashy’ Ash. Alan was a well-loved athlete and member of the wheelchair rugby family here and across the world, having been involved in the sport since 1995.

Alan played in the first-ever World Wheelchair Rugby Championship in Switzerland and went on to compete at five Paralympic Games – Atlanta, Sydney, Athens, Beijing, and Rio. A coach at West Coach Crash and for the GB talent program, Alan has played a key role in the growth of wheelchair rugby in Great Britain. Our thoughts and prayers go to Alan’s friends, family, and teammates at this difficult time.
