A Garrycastle GAA club member, Enda Mulvihill died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. He died at the age of 43 years and his death was confirmed by Garrycastle GAA. He died as a result of a brief illness.
It is with great pain and sadness that we announce the death of our dedicated and beloved club member, Enda Mulvihill after suffering a short illness”, Garrycastle GAA announced.
“Enda was the former captain of the club who was renowned for his leadership qualities. Enda became a member of the club in 1987, starting at u1, he also played so many roles in the club that brought about huge success. During the senior level, Enda won 7 County Medals when they played against St Brigids to win the Leinster Club Championship in 2011.
“Enda also represented the Westmeath in All Ireland success as part of the u21 All Ireland win in 1999. He was a gentleman with a true sense both in and out of the pitch whose love and affection was Felt by everyone who knew him. His bravery, commitment, and beautiful smile will never be forgotten. He’ll always be in our hearts.
His friends, colleagues, and veterans are also sending their tributes and condolences to the family of Enda in respect of his death. He will be terribly missed by everyone.
