Charles William Weeks obituary – Death, Charlie Week’s Death
Charles William also known by many as “Charlie” Weeks has been reported dead on Monday, the 24th of January 2022, at the age of 98, in West Linn, Oregon, surrounded by family. The cause of his demise is unknown at this time of reporting the sad news, as it was not stressed by the conveyor of the news.
Born on April 22, 1923, in Palmyra, Arkansas, to Charlie Martin Weeks and Ethel Elmyra (Collins) Weeks, the deceased had served in the Army during World War II, before returning home to engaged the woman of his dream and lovebird Annette Dickey in 1946. After the solemnization of the holy matrimony the couples moved to Coos Bay, Oregon in 1948. The peaceful union is 48 years old.
The deceased worshipped at the First Baptist Church in Coos Bay and served at the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce for many years, as a volunteer, he also worked at the Evans Products Company, Menasha, and later retired from Weyerhaeuser Containerboard, all along, he didn’t sit still as he was always working on a new project.
The deceased more often than never was found snacking on anything chocolate, fixing something, or golfing. He also always talked about flying to Washington D.C. for Honor Flight, a free trip for veterans, which he claimed treated the veterans like “rock stars”.
Williams is survived by son, wife, and many members of the local Dickey family. We send condolences to the family friends and loved ones of the deceased, we ask that God grants them the fortitude to bear the sad loss, and also fill the void his death has caused in their heart.
”Charles “Charlie” William Weeks lived a long, happy life before passing at the age of 98 on January 24, 2022, in West Linn, Oregon. He left the world the same way he lived his life, surrounded by family”.
