Andrew Bem’s Obituary, Death, Andrew Bem’s Cause Of Death
We have been informed by the The Berks County Coroner after they identified a man who passed away after a fire broke out at a home on Sunday, the 6th of February, 2022, in Spring Township. The deceased was later identified as 91-year old Andrew Bem.
Apart from the deceased, we also gathered that two others were taken to the hospital, and according to the coroner office’s report, their conditions are currently unknown. According to information, the fire broke out just before 7 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Miller Road.
Later on around 10 p.m., the house was on fire again due to a flash fire in the ceiling, and due to failure of the fire department to produce the needed extinguishing instruments as they complained to have run into some supply issues and had to call in tankers to help put out the fire, it was so unfortunate that the home could not be saved by the crew.
We are aware that a Gofundme was created by a friend of the family few hours after the tragedy and the good news is that the account has been able to raise thousands of dollars for them to rebuild, as the turn out has been overwhelming from donations by people who physically donated items.
We extend sincere and most heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased, we ask that God grants them the fortitude to bear the great loss. We also pray that God pardon the deceased’s excesses.
