William Hendley Edwards of Spring Hill, aged 74, has passed away on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022, at Maury Regional Medical Center from COVID-19 and pneumonia, reports from a genuine source has made it known on the 1st of February 2022.
The loving father, husband, and grand dad graduated in 1965 from Hay Long High School in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, and was then an outstanding basketball player. Immediately after his graduation the deceased joined the U.S. Air Force, and spent four years, which included a year in Vietnam.
The deceased also assisted his dad and uncles on their farms. This gave him strong passion for fishing, hunting, and woodwork. He later retired from Bellsouth after 32 years of service after serving as a project manager.
He also rendered assistance to many people in the community, as a member of the Spring Hill Church of Christ, he served on the security team as well as many other works. He also taught young boys and girls how to shoot a gun, bow and arrow and also hunting deer and fishing.
William is succeeded by his wife of 39 years, Paula Wood Edwards and other members of his immediate and extended family at large. We extend sincere and most heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased and her many friends, he will be greatly missed.
