Robert Stone’s obituary – Death, Robert Stone’s Cause Of Death
Robert Stone, also known as Bob born August 20th, 1955, in Ipswich into the family of late Norman and Barbara Stone, has passed away, on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, in Beverly Hospital following a sudden illness, as reported by a close friend of the deceased.
Raised in Ipswich the 1974 graduate of Ipswich High School was a beloved member of the great community he lived as he was a longstanding employee of the town of Ipswich. The 66 year old for several decades served the E&S Machine and Mike & Sons Oil Service prior to his full time involvement in the spring of 1987 for their Electric Light Department, as an oiler.
Robert was promoted through the ranks in several departments, having worked and served tirelessly and diligently in the Electric Light and Wastewater departments. In the year 2007, in the month of April the deceased retired from his post as assistant power plant superintendent after 20 years of unwavered service.
The deceased for several years also served the Ipswich Fire Department as a call fireman, and till he passed on continuously served the town as part-time technician in the IT Department. The deceased was a faithful and active member of the First Congregational Church of Hamilton, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Deceased Bob had a strong presence in the town hall, and this has made his peers more than grateful to have known and worked with him throughout the years they spent together.
Deceased Bob is survived by five aunts and other members of the extended family.
